EMDR Therapy

EMDR stands for: Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a research backed psychotherapy for trauma and anxiety disorders. It’s effects can reduce the emotional and physiological distress brought on by a trauma memory by guiding the client to focus briefly on the memory while simultaneously administering bilateral stimulation (BLS), typically by means of eye-movements.
